Seven Meadows supports all ethical, environmental and quality initiatives, but is not a direct member or certification holder for any of the below. As part of our due diligence and our guarantee to you, we regularly check the certification credentials with our suppliers.
The Campaign for Wool is a global community of sheep farmers, retailers, designers, manufacturers and consumers united by their patron His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. It aims to educate as many people as possible about the incredible benefits and versatility of wool in fashion, furnishings and everyday life. This in turn, supports many small businesses and local farmers whose livelihoods depend on the wool industry. JACARANDA CARPETS is a long-standing supporter of the "Campaign for Wool". | |
GoodWeave was founded in 1995 to stop child labour in the handmade rug industry. This excellent international organisation works to eradicate child labour from supply chains via its unique labelling scheme, which includes independent, unannounced producer inspections, monitoring and certification. GoodWeave also provides educational opportunities to children in weaving communities and works to ensure the fair treatment of adult carpet weavers. JACARANDA CARPETS is a long-standing supporter and member of GoodWeave, and their factories are available for random inspection by GoodWeave’s inspectors at any time. | |
CertiPur works with its members to make sure that the flexible polyurethane (PU) Foam they use for upholstery meets the ethical and environmental requirements currently in force. With particular sensitivity to environmental sustainability, safety and health, whilst guaranteeing that certified products do not contain harmful substances.
