IMPORTANT: A Minimum Order Quantity of 60 mt is indicated for all Nordic Products (cumulative - this can include multiple items).  Should you not be able to reach this minimum, the order can still be processed, but a surcharge for import and shipping will apply.

1] SELECT YOUR WOOD TYPE

Nordic offers 3 wood varieties:

• OAK
• ASH
• LARCH

Each variety comes in 3 grades: 

• SELECT (minimal knots & colour variations)
• CLASSIC/NATURAL  (medium amount of knots & colour variations)
• VINTAGE/OLIVE (significant amount of knots & colour variations)

2] SELECT YOUR BOARD /STRIP SIZE OR DESIGN

For each finish a variety of size and floor design options are available. 

• The BOARDS are the traditional boards in a variety of widths and lengths (float or glue). 
• The BASKETWEAVE STRIPS are used for the classic herringbone, as well as double herringbone, basketweave and tile pattern (T&G + glue only)
• The DESIGN floors ( VIISTO, CHEVRON 45, PALA AND KOLMIO, as well as the PUNOS and RUUTO tiles) allow a variety of designs (T&G + glue only)

3] SELECT YOUR HARDWOOD LAYER THICKNESS

All varieties come with a standard 3.5mm solid hardwood top layer. If you have selected oak, you will also have the option of selecting an extra thickness of 6 mm.

4] SELECT YOUR SURFACE FEEL

Some colour tones allow for the surface to be either SANDED (extra smooth) or BRUSHED (rougher feel that exposes the natural grain of the wood), while others only come in one or the other. Some designs such as the PUNOS and RUUTU tiles only allow a sanded surface.

5] SELECT YOUR FINISH

Some colour tones allow the choice between Waxed Oiled and Matt Lacquered finish, while others only come in one or the other.

6] SELECT YOUR INSTALLATION SYSTEM

Nordic has developed a new installation system called "Interlocking", which is available for this product:

Traditional Tongue & Groove installation is also available. NOTE: the 270 mm wide boards, Herringbone strips and Design floors are only available in T&G, and must always be GLUED to the substrate.

Due to the bespoke nature of the Nordic Floors we recommend that, once you have made your selection, you request a sample before progressing with the order. 

> Orders of boards in any size may also include the following lengths: 218 cm, 208 cm, 200 cm, 181.8 cm.

Samples can be ordered HERE. Tone-specific samples are made to order, therefore a small contribution is required to cover manufacturing and shipping costs. We also have a small selection of general wood samples here in the UK, which can be sent to you on loan....please call us to discuss!

QUANTITY: we generally recommend to add a 10% waste & error allowance on top of your required square meterage to all orders/quotes.

PRICES: All prices are per square meter for ease of quoting; package sizes vary. As we are unable to split packages, a manual adjustment will be made by the sales office to the closest number of boxes for the design you have selected, so the final price may vary slightly.
